We have rethought the linear economic model (make-use-dispose) where we try to extract the maximum value from resources and increase the life cycle of the material as much as possible, implementing the transition from a linear economy to a circular economy.
This economic model is based on the assumption of recovering more and more waste so that it can be recycled or reused. It is estimated that increasing post-life plastic consumption to 55% and reducing landfills to 10% in North America and Europe alone could reduce the environmental cost by 7.9 billion dollars.
